Fender '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb 22-Watt 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amplifier, 120V

Fender '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb 22-Watt 1x12" Tube Guitar Combo Amplifier, 120V (Model 2274000000). Pre-owned.

1968 was a transitional year for Fender amps, with tone that was still pure Fender but a look that was brand new: a silver-and-turquoise front panel and aluminum "drip edge" grille cloth trim. The Deluxe Reverb has long been the go-to recording and performing amp for classic Fender sound.

The '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb pays tribute to the late-'60s silver panel amps. Both channels have reverb and tremolo, and the "custom" channel uses a modified Bassman tone stack for more flexibility with pedals. Quicker gain onset and reduced negative feedback give it greater touch sensitivity, and the 12" Celestion G12V-70 speaker adds a more rock 'n' roll flavor.

Features:

22 watts, all-tube circuitry with handwired tube sockets

12" Celestion G12V-70 speaker

Vintage channel for traditional silver panel tone; custom channel with Bassman tone circuit

Fender tube-driven spring reverb and tremolo on both channels
